The Center for Intelligent, Distributed, Embedded Applications and Systems brings together faculty, post-doctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students in a collaborative research environment. Funding comes from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and member companies from the private sector. An industrial advisory board selects research projects for funding.

First, an overview graphic was created that would illustrate how the center “Co-designs smart hardware and software that sense, collect, compute, communicate and control the world around us.” It also features images of industries that this research could potentially benefit. Now that the vision was illustrated, a logo was developed to reflect that vision. MS Word letterhead/invite and MS PowerPoint templates were also developed in order to immediately deploy the new identity into ongoing work. Finally, a Wordpress website was developed encompassing the new design direction. Take a look at the link below and keep checking back to see the new projects they are working on.
